INVITATION TO TENDER

STUDENT TABLETS/001/2019

For the supply, delivery and commissioning of 1621 student tablets as per tender document.

Prospective tenderers are invited to submit their proposals for the supply and delivery of the above mentioned items to: Walter Sisulu University at the following campus: Mthatha Campus.

NB: Delivery of the items must be as set out in the tender document.

The following documents must be submitted with the tender document: • A valid BBBEE Certificate verified by an accredited verification agent and or duly SWORN Affidavit • Proof of company registration with CIPC • A valid Tax Clearance Certificate • Proof of payment of non-refundable tender fee must form part of tender submission, failure to do so will result in disqualification.

Tender documents with necessary terms of reference will be available from 22 November 2019 on the WSU website (www.wsu.ac.za) under “work with us” draw down menu).

A non-refundable fee of R500,00 must be paid at FNB Bank, A/c holder Walter Sisulu University, A/c No. 62099126601, Ref: your company name.

Completed tender documents in sealed envelopes clearly marked “STUDENT TABLETS/001/2019” must be deposited in the tender box situated at the Ground floor, Old Admin Building, Reception area leading to HR Offices at NMD site Mthatha Campus on or before 11h00, 09 December 2019.

Late, incomplete, telegraphic, e-mailed or facsimile tenders will not be considered.

A two phase evaluation criteria will be used, where functionality and a preferential point system 90/10 shall apply.

Walter Sisulu University reserves the right not to accept the lowest tender and may not furnish reasons for its decision.
