Accountant: Revenue (Kleinmond) • Directorate: Finance (Ref.: WC0324716)

• Salary: R291 648 per annum

Minimum requirements:

•A Higher National Diploma or degree in Accounting • 2 years’ experience in debtors supervising • computer literacy in MS Office • communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.

Recommendations: Candidates must be able to work independently, maintaining a high level of accuracy and be able to reach deadlines • must have strong numerical skills.

Main functions: Responsible for: • ensuring that the Kleinmond office for the Finance Revenue Department is supervised and the database for the administration is administered • supervising and controlling of the Revenue Section • maintaining of the Financial system • preparing and approving correspondence • training and capacity building of subordinates • reporting to the Manager: Revenue.
