Execution of the ongoing maintenance of the Insurance Portfolio, including the orderly maintenance of the Insurance Claims Register.

Key responsibilities:
• Placing insurance cover for all as per Insurance Portfolio and notify Manager-Risk • Executing accounting for Insurance Claims within the provisions of the policy • Proposing and actioning corrective measures where applicable • Operating the manual register of Insurance claims • Ensuring that Insurance clearing account is cleared monthly with all monies received from the brokers • Ensuring that all projects under R50 million approved through the tender • Ensuring that all the Company’s assets are properly protected and take out the necessary insurance • Ensuring that reconciliation is performed on all activity as relates to insurance • Preparing regularized reports in accordance with work deliverables for onward inspection by management • Preparing reports in accordance with satisfying various audit obligations • Ensuring that all audit queries are successfully attended to by meticulously planning and executing work deliverables to the highest standards.

Qualifications and experience:
• Qualification in Risk Management/Finance (NQF Level 5) • Must have 3 years’ experience in long and short term Insurance of which 2 years must include claims processing experience • Experience working with Excel, Word and Outlook • Driver’s licence.
