Administrator: Supply Chain Management (Hermanus) •

Directorate: Finance (Ref.: WC0329646)

Salary: R209 268 per annum

Minimum requirements: • an NQF qualification on Level 5 in the fields of Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics or Economics or a National Diploma in Public Finance Management and Administration (SAQA qualification I.D. No. 49554) or equivalent • 2 years’ relevant experience in a role related to the post • computer literacy in MS Office • communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.

Main functions:

Responsible for: • executing the implementation of functional procedures, systems and controls associated with the key performance areas and result indicators of the function • performing a Supply Chain compliance evaluation on tender documents received in order to verify the responsiveness of the bids • ensuring compliance to Council’s policies in applications associated with procurement processes • attending to specific administrative recording and reporting requirements.

Special conditions: Candidates must have good interpretation and analytical skills.
