Salary: The incumbent will be remunerated at R544 422.24 p.a. on permanent basis with other standard municipal benefits subject to job evaluation

Minimum requirements: • Must have a Grade 12 Certificate • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Environmental Science/equivalent relevant qualification • Code B driver’s licence • 4 – 5 years’ relevant experience. Skills: • Good communication skills • Good presentation skills • Strong supervisory and leadership skills • Computer literacy. Knowledge of relevant legislation.

Key performance areas: • Manage and control the operations of the beach and campsite • Implement corrective measures/interventions • Support the accomplishment of service delivery objectives • Manage, assist and recommend views in the implementation of goals and objectives of Municipality • Establish schedules and methods for providing sport programs • Submit budget recommendations and assisting with suggested fees and expenditures • Negotiate and resolve sensitive, significant and controversial issues/ matters • Manage the Administration of beach personnel programs and operations • Manage the maintenance of swimming equipment and facilities • Inspect, record and arrange maintenance according to various requests • Maintain records and develop reports concerning beach • Submit the weekly, monthly and special reports on issues concerning beach matters • Interact with other departments within the Municipality and external departments • Prepare, submit and control the budget for the entire section • Collect, and check cash from the beach and campsite for submission to treasury • Control the expenditure and income for the section • Manage stores requisition for replenishment of first aid items, stationery, chemicals and cleaning materials.
