Chief Administrator: Contracts, Tenders and Projects (Hermanus) • Directorate: Infrastructure and Planning (Ref.: WC0326406)

• Salary: R291 648 per annum plus participation in the “Essential” car allowance scheme

Minimum requirements:

• A Law degree • admittance as an attorney/advocate • 2 years’ legal experience with contracts as focus areas • computer literacy in MS Office • a valid Code EB/B driver’s licence • communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.

Physical Requirement: • must be fit to perform site visits and inspections. Main functions: Responsible for: • implementing and executing procedures regarding Council decisions related to sales/leases of Municipal properties, as well as purchasing of properties • drafting of tender documents and completion of tender processes • drafting, administration and managing Municipal property contracts • reconciling the Municipal rentals • public relations and customer care • supervising subordinates • assist in Municipal disciplinary hearings.
