Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Appropriate experience as a cleaner in a health facility
• Experience in the use of cleaning equipment, cleaning materials and cleaning detergents
• Infection control and occupational health and safety experience.
Inherent requirement of the job:
Willingness to work flexible hours.
Fluency in at least two of the three official languages of the
• Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles.
Duties (key result areas/outputs): Provide a clean, hygienic environment in and outside the health care facility to prevent the spread of infection
• General cleaning and maintenance
• Ensure care of cleaning equipment
• Actively involved in infection control and occupational health and safety activities
• Optimal support to supervisor and colleagues.
Note: Shortlisted candidate will be subjected to complete a practical test. No payment of any kind is required when
