Estate Agency Affairs Board

The successful candidate will be based at our Head Office in Sandton and will
provide a financial support service to all units within the EAAB by introducing and
implementing appropriate financial, accounting, policies, processes, procedures,
internal controls and implementing sound investment management systems for
the Fidelity Fund in order to ensure accurate financial and management reporting.


• BCom degree in Accounting/Finance

• A minimum of 5-8
years’ experience in a financial environment of which 3 years should be at senior
management level

• CIMA will be an advantage

• Knowledge and understanding
of governance frameworks, (e.g. PFMA, GAAP King III; TAX IFRS and GRAP)

• A good understanding of the Government structures and the relationships between
Government (as a shareholder) and the public entities

• Understanding of the EAAB business and industry • Knowledge of financial packages including SAP

• Business acumen, professional with high ethics • Exceptional financial
management knowledge.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure submitted financial statements for (EAAB and EAFF)
are compiled according to legislative and financial requirements

• Develop financial systems, policies, procedures and guidelines and financial controls

• Ensure overall business performance through a well-managed finance function

• Manage operational risks and financial controls for EAAB

• Management accounting

• Manage operational risks and financial controls for EAAB

• Financial planning and reporting

• Manage investment returns.
