Group Manager Human Resources
We are seeking a mature and experienced Human Resources professional to lead the Human Resources portfolio for our Group. This HR expert will be expected to develop and implement effective initiatives and processes in line with our HR Business Partnership Model. The successful candidate will, ideally, have detailed knowledge (and experience) of the application of Positive Leadership and Positive Organisational Principles at Executive Leadership Level and will implement relevant strategies to support business growth. The person will lead a seasoned team of HR professionals who will assist him/her in building a robust HR Business Partnership Model.
The ideal candidate will be a strong strategic thinker with a high work ethic and committed to successful enterprises in line with our overall strategic business objectives. He/she should be a strong team player and have exceptional interpersonal skills coupled with a strong organisational ability. The individual will be passionate about the development and training of all our Human Resources in the Group.
When on board the candidate will develop a deep understanding of our business vision, strategy, values and objectives. He/she will lead the total HR function and will be knowledgeable about all HR functions associated with large organisations. The individual will contribute to a high-performance workplace by developing processes for identifying signature strengths and talents among staff which will lead to a culture of, amongst others, improved morale, innovation, productivity, personal growth, self-expression, energised networks, personal involvement and employee retention. A passion for social responsibility projects is imperative.
Requirements: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or an MBA majoring in HR; superior strategic abilities; solid budget-management experience; sound knowledge of IR and IR legislation; experience in developing training courses. HR experience in the agricultural field as such is not a prerequisite.
Apart from a market-related remuneration package, the candidate will enjoy residency in one of the coastal towns of either Humansdorp, Jeffreys Bay or St Francis Bay.
