Ubuhlebezwe Local Municipality invites applications for suitable qualified candidates for appointment to the following position:

Department of Infrastructure Planning and Development


SALARY SCALE: R127 771.57 – R165 862.45 P.A. (T6)

Applicable benefits: medical aid, pension, 13th cheque, home owner’s allowance

Minimum requirements: • Grade 12 Certificate • Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma in Project Management/Civil Engineering • 2-3 years’ experience in housing environment
• Computer literacy • Good Communication Skills • Be fluent in English and Isizulu • A valid driver’s licence.

Key performance areas: • Conduct appraisals of existing and completed housing projects through site visits • Attend to daily housing public queries • Assist with the compilation of application for prep-funding for allocated and planned Housing Projects • Provide all the necessary administration support services and Housing Section • Assist with reviewing the housing sector planning • Receive and verify project invoices from implementing agent for processing.
