Izimbiwa Complex, Middelburg Operations

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the implementation of all HR policies, systems, practices and standards; look after the HR administration for the bargaining unit and assist with all Complex HR projects.

Requirements: • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification • Relevant tertiary qualification • Code EB/08 driver’s licence • Minimum 75% completion of the Graduate Trainee Programme OR two (2) years’ HR generalist experience • Knowledge and experience of the SAP human capital module • MS Office proficiency • Ability to inspire and foster commitment, pride and trust amongst team members by taking a democratic approach, seeking and valuing contributions and encouraging collaboration • Ability to drill into the detail of issue to determine root cause while considering urgency, importance, risk and reward factors • Ability to be target-focused and meet deadlines, punctual and keep to schedule, and reliable in fi nishing tasks • Ability to adhere to rules and regulations, follow instructions and limit risk of non-compliance on the business.

The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to the following: • Providing general HR services to Izimbiwa Complex Operations bargaining unit employees • Ensuring compliance with company HR policies, procedures and legislation • Advising line management regarding fair and consistent procedures and actions in line with applicable company policies and procedures • Assisting with Izimbiwa Complex Operations HR projects as assigned • Assisting with Izimbiwa Complex operations HR reporting and trend monitoring.
