CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: INDEPENDENT MEMBER OF THE INSETA AUDIT AND RISK COMMITTEE

The Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority (INSETA) hereby invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for appointment as Independent member of the Audit and Risk committee for the INSETA.

Applicants should have the following skills, experience and attributes: • Previous experience in financial performance auditing, risk management: fraud risks, internal financial controls, external audit controls • Previous experience as a member in an Audit Committee • Previous experience in the Public sector business and controls • Knowledge of internal and external audit functions in the Public sector • Knowledge of the Public Financial Management Act and Treasury regulations and their implications • Knowledge of management principles and ethics • Knowledge of Corporate Governance Principles • Good communication skills • Inquisitiveness and independent judgement.
