Junior Lecturer: English Studies (One Post)
• Honors degree in English Studies (Literature and or Language). • At least one (1) year teaching experience at the tertiary level. Competencies: The applicant should be able to work as part of a team, take initiatives in research projects and contribute to the development of programmes offered in the Department. Flexibility and good work ethic are prioritized for this position.
The incumbent will be required to: • Conduct research to advance knowledge related to English Studies. • Prepare course materials. • Teach large, undergraduate students • Set assignments, tests, and examination papers. • Keep records of students’ class attendance, marks, and other required documents. • Participate in community engagement initiatives and research • Maintain scheduled office hours to advise and assist students • Participate actively in Departmental and School activities.
