Junior Lecturer: Xitsonga Discipline (One post)
• Honors in Xitsonga • At least one (1) year teaching experience at a tertiary level. Competencies: The applicant should be able to work as part of a team, and take initiatives in research projects and contribute to the development of programmes offered in the Department. Flexibility and good work ethic are prioritised for this position.
The incumbent will be required to: • Conduct research to advance knowledge related to the Discipline. • Prepare course materials • Teach undergraduate students • Set assignments, tests and examination papers • Maintain students’ attendance records, marks, and other required records • Participate in community engagement initiatives and research. • Maintain scheduled office house to advise and assist students. • Participate actively in Departmental and School activities.
