Lecturer: Pharmacy (Pharmacology/Clinical Pharmacy Practice) (Two posts)

Requirements:

MPharm/MSc degree in Pharmacy with a B.Pharm degree • Professional registration with South African Pharmacy Council as a pharmacist is a strong recommendation • A minimum experience of 3 years in teaching or relevant professional experience in the clinical pharmacy practice setup • Experience in the implementation of the integrated curriculum will be an added advantage.

Duties: The successful applicant will be required to:  Facilitate learning and coordinate modules in the BPharm programme and other programmes where the pharmacy department is required to offer services • Facilitate the development of curricula and learning the material in the area of health sciences • Carry out related academic administrative duties as determined by the HOD •  Conduct research and supervise postgraduate students •  Participate in community service and research projects •  Participate in the supervision of students during practicals • Core competencies: Proven record to contribute to research and community outreach projects in the area of health sciences • Computer literacy
