Lecturer: Xitsonga Discipline (One post)
• MA in Xitsonga • At least two (2) years teaching experience at tertiary level • Qualification in Lexicography will be an added advantage. Competencies: The applicant should be able to work as part of a team, take initiatives in research projects and contribute to the development of programmes offered in the Department • Flexibility and good work ethic are prioritized for this position.
The incumbent will be required to: • Conduct research to advance knowledge related to the Discipline • Prepare course materials. • Teach undergraduate students • Set assignments, tests and examination papers • Maintain students’ attendance records, marks and other required records. • Participate in community engagement initiatives and research • Maintain scheduled office house to advise and assist students • Participate actively in Departmental and School activities.
