There is an urgent need in the Department of Health for the services of individuals registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC). We are awaiting applications for vacant nursing posts as indicated below. LECTURER GRADE 1 AND 2

Remuneration:

  • Grade 1: R383 226 (PN-D1) per annum
  • Grade 2: R471 333 (PN-D2) per annum

CLINICAL NURSE PRACTITIONER GRADE 1 AND 2 (PRIMARY HEALTH CARE)

Remuneration:

  • Grade 1: R383 226 (PN-B1) per annum
  • Grade 2: R471 333 (PN-B2) per annum

PROFESSIONAL NURSE GRADE 1 AND 2 (SPECIALTY NURSING)

Remuneration:

  • Grade 1: R383 226 (PN-B1) per annum
  • Grade 2: R471 333 (PN-B2) per annum

PROFESSIONAL NURSE GRADE 1, 2 AND 3 (GENERAL NURSING)

Remuneration:

  • Grade 1: R256 905 (PN-A2) per annum

STAFF NURSE GRADE 1, 2 AND 3

Remuneration:

  • Grade 1: R171 381 (SN1) per annum

NURSING ASSISTANT GRADE 1, 2 AND 3

Remuneration:

  • Grade 1: R132 525 (NA1) per annum
  • Grade 2: R156 846 (NA2) per annum
  • Grade 3: R187 263 (NA3) per annum

INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS: Z83 forms (obtainable from any Government department or www.westerncape.gov.za) must: Be completed in full, clearly reflect the name of the position, name and date of publication (candidates may use this as reference) be signed, accompanied by a comprehensive CV, the name of 3 referees and certified copies of ID, driver’s licence and qualification/s. Applications must be forwarded to the address as indicated on the advertisement. CVs will not be returned. Excess personnel will receive preference. Applications, faxed or e-mailed, which are received after the closing date will not be considered.

Further communication will be limited to shortlisted candidates. If you have not received a response from the Department within 3 months of the closing date, please consider your application as unsuccessful. It will be expected of candidates to be available for selection interviews on a date, time and place as determined by the Department.

This advertisement is valid from 7 September 2019 for a period of six months up to 7 March 2020. The recruitment process will start immediately after three weeks, which will be 28 September 2019.
