Project Manager: Community Engagement
The HIV Prevention Research Unit (HPRU) seeks to appoint a Project Manager: Community Engagement, to lead and manage the community engagement programme within the unit, in compliance with good participatory practice. The post will require the incumbent to subscribe to South African and international community ethical guidelines.
The position below is currently available, based at HPRU in Durban.
Project Manager: Community Engagement (Masters in Community Development or Public Health or Social/Behaviourial Science or a relevant health related discipline • minimum of 5 years’ experience in planning, leading and monitoring community engagement and stakeholder management in infectious diseases or a health research environment • 3 years’ experience with Project Management • fluent in isiZulu and English • Code 8 driver’s licence • 3-year contract post • salary R638 951 per annum).
