ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES AND ASSET MANAGEMENT DIRECTORATE • PROPERTY MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT

The City of Cape Town is recruiting Property specialists in permanent positions to support the planning and execution of all activities relating to Optimisation and Rationalisation exercises dealing with immovable property assets used, managed and controlled by the City of Cape Town. In order to give effect to the Optimisation and Rationalisation Strategic Framework and Roadmap, give effect to the objectives of the CCT Strategic objectives, drive more efficient and effective use of CCT immovable property assets and facilitate the effective and efficient delivery of service to the Community through optimal deployment and use of immovable property assets to support such delivery.

Another key objective is the planning and execution of all activities relating to immovable property asset data capture, portfolio framework development, portfolio compilation (asset allocation), performance measurement, remediation planning and execution, and the development and maintenance of business system solutions on corporate enterprise platforms in order to ensure compliance with the Immovable Property Asset Management Strategy of the City, give effect to the objectives of the CCT Strategic objectives, give effect to policy on the management of Council’s Immovable Property and compliance with legislation, corporate policy and protocols.

These specialists will be joining highly skilled professional teams and will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the Property Management department and City of Cape Town at large.
