Senior Lecturer:

Philosophy of Education

Minimum Requirements:

Interested applicants must meet the following requirements:  Must be in possession of PhD degree in Philosophy of Education.  Must have a teaching qualification.  Must have skills in the supervision of postgraduate students.  Must be an all-around academic with scholarly attributes and be ready to publish articles in academic journals.  Must be in possession of valid drivers’ licence.

Core Functions:

 Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students  Supervise academic research projects/reports  Undertake teaching, research and administrative duties in the department.  Implement departmental operational plans to achieve strategic objectives.  Engage in integrated learning, practice teaching and community service  Initiate and develop course materials  Must be ready to prepare and deliver lectures and seminars  Must sign a performance contract.
