SENIOR PROFESSIONAL OFFICER

TCOE SALARY COMMENCING FROM R840 607 TO R1 269 916 PER ANNUM • REF NO: WS 180/21 • BELLVILLE

 Requirements:

  • BSc/BEng or BTech Civil Engineering
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience at a senior level in the Civil Engineering field specifically in Hydrology and Hydraulics
  • Project management experience will be an advantage
  • A valid Code EB driver’s licence.

 Key performance areas:

  • Providing support to undertake and develop long-term infrastructure and operational management plans for stormwater and river management
  • Assist with managing and controlling manage development and operational activities within the catchment planning regions
  • Providing specialist input regarding implementation of catchment and stormwater management strategies and policies
  • Promoting the philosophy and approaches of Integrated Urban Water Management
  • Consulting with Head: Catchment Planning on matters pertaining to compliance with the deliverables/requirements of the catchment regions and in accordance with the business plan of the CSRM Branch.
