Task Level 4
Basic Salary: R96 264 to R121 344 per annum
Total Cost-to-Council Package: R180 744 to R213 388 per annum

The successful candidate will be required to perform the following key performance areas and
be responsible for:
• Grass cutting and vegetation control in the Greater Knysna, Parks Department • Municipal assets and equipment • Minor maintenance of equipment • On-site occupational health and safety.
Minimum qualification and requirements:
• Grade 8 • 2 years’ experience with a brush cutter • Must be physically fit and able to read and write • Must be able to operate a brush cutter • Must be able to work in a team, work overtime and standby, as and when requested • Must be able to walk long distances on a daily basis with a brush cutter.
