SUPERINTENDENT: TESTING STATION AND LICENSING
• Salary: R402 057.24 p.a. • Benefits: Medical Aid, Pension Fund, Housing Allowances and 13th Cheque and Travelling Allowances

Requirements: • Grade 12/Matric • National Diploma in Traffic Officers (NQF Level 6) • Vehicles and driver’s licence examiners Certificate (Grade A) • Driver’s licence Code EC • 3 years’ experience • Good communication (verbal and written) • Computer literacy • The successful candidate will be required to work six days
per week.

Key performance areas: • Coordinate and control the capital and operational budget of the Unit to ensure effective and efficient functioning within budgetary constraints of Council • Perform and control the NATIS system in the cross-boundary areas of jurisdiction according to Road Traffic • Monitor the tests conducted and other activities in the testing ground through the CCTV cameras • Maintain the activity and record keeping system and/or execute specific actions to facilitate the updating of registers schedules and manuals (Quality System and Procedures, Occupational Health and Safety Registers, Training records, Work Instruction Lists, Testing and Measuring Equipment Registers and, etc. • Identify with the road safety strategy and statutory requirements and defines, implements and monitors the short-term plans and objectives for the functionality • Monitor and perform application/procedures associated with testing and certification of driver and vehicle road worthiness
• Coordinates the implementation of functional procedures, systems and controls associated with the key performance areas and result indicators of the functionality.
