SALARY: R194 823.23 – R252 911.70 P.A.
Qualifications and experience: • Relevant NQF level 05 qualification obtained from
a recognized institution • Grade F Examiner Certificate • Three years’ experience in
motor licensing • Computer literacy – MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Ability to
communicate in both English and IsiZulu.
Knowledge, skills and competencies required: • General understanding of local
government • Knowledge of local government systems, procedures and processes
• Understanding of Acts and regulations applicable to the functionality (testing
and motor licensing) • Good counting skills • Interpersonal skills • Ability to meet
deadlines • Ability to work under pressure • Planning and report writing skills.
Key performance areas: • Exercise direct supervision over motor licensing
renewal transaction official • Coordinate and supervise motor licensing procedures
according to statutes • Monitor daily results and prepares production statistical
report which submitted on a monthly basis to immediate superior • Organize and
prepares the balancing of financial reports and verifies against eNATIS financial
reports drawn from the eNATIS computer system at the end of the working day
• Prepare Daily Submission List information to Fees for the month by declaration of
Total Motor Vehicle Fees Receipt, and detailing and distributing them among MTS,
RTMC and MLM • Perform document problem solving and co-ordinates correcting of
problems with DOT & IT Support Services Staff • Perform duties in the implementation
and maintenance of computer programmes and their changes • Perform computer
programme problem solving and assists assigned staff with problems • Implement
security measures for programmes and data by requesting MTS IT to restrict access
on other transactions • Respond to audit queries/findings.
