STORES SPECIALIST: PROCUREMENT/SCM
Applications are invited from suitable candidates with appropriate qualifications and experience
for the following position:

Salary: R435 051.00 – R540 620.00 p.a. (All-inclusive package)
Minimum requirements and competencies:
• M+ 3 Year Degree/Diploma in Commerce or
an equivalent of NQF Level 6 qualification as recognized by SAQA • 5 years’ relevant working
experience in Stores management or similar, two years’ of which must be at a Supervisory or
Management level • Good knowledge of ITS system • Good understanding of Supply Chain
Management • Knowledge of SCM legislative framework.
• Inventory management and stock control • Provide support
services, material pertaining to acquisition, storage, distribution and control • Review,
refine and implement Stores process Implement new processes with proper control and
ensure stakeholders “buy in” process • Management of sub-ordinates performance through
implementing the performance management system • Identify problem areas, modify
and streamline Stores process • Prepare budget for the current year to top-management
for approval • Ensure that all reports relevant to function are available and presented to
management e.g. Expenditure reports and reconciliation records.
