BID REF: UFH-SCM03/2020 – BIDS ARE HEREBY INVITED FROM SUITABLY QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR THE SUPPLY, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION, COMMISSIONING AND ON SITE MANAGEMENT UNDER SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT OF PRINTING AND ASSOCIATED SERVICES TO OPERATE ON ALICE, BISHO AND EAST LONDON CAMPUSES, AS WELL AS OTHER SITES THAT MAY BE INCLUDED, TO FUNCTION ACCORDING TO REQUIREMENTS IN THE UNIVERSITY OF FORT HARE ENVIRONMENT FOR A PERIOD OF 3 YEARS, CONDITIONALLY EXTENDABLE TO 5 YEARS
Formal Bid documents that contain detailed Terms of Reference of the required services as above can be obtained from the office of the Supply Chain Management by requesting a set of documents from email address: tendersubmissions@ufh.ac.za with bid reference UFH-SCM03/2020.
Prospective bidders must submit the e-mail addresses of staff that will be attending the on-line mandatory pre-tender briefing, to tendersubmissions@ufh.ac.za after which the link to the on-line mandatory tender briefing meeting will be sent to those email addresses
24 hours before the meeting commences. Email addresses of the suppliers’ staff attending the pre-tender compulsory briefing that are not received in time will not be allowed to join the briefing.
COMPULSORY TENDER BRIEFING: An on-line compulsory pre-tender briefing will be held on the 08 April 2021 at 09h00 using Microsoft Teams.
Evaluation Criteria:
Bids shall be evaluated based on the following;
- Phase One – Full Compliance to the mandatory conditions as outlined in the formal terms of reference (Bidders that meet the all conditions in order to proceed to phase two of the evaluation criteria.)
- Phase Two – Technical evaluation according to the requirements enumerated in the formal terms of reference. Bidders must score at least 80% to qualify to proceed to phase three of the evaluation criteria. (Bidders that meet the all conditions in order to proceed to phase three of the evaluation criteria).
- Phase Three – 80:20 Preference points system shall apply to all those bidders that have progressed to this phase. 80 points shall represent points allocated for price wherein the cheapest price obtains maximum 80 points, while 20 points shall represent BBBEE points wherein level one BBBEE contributor shall get maximum points. (To claim BBBEE points, a valid BBBEE certificate issued by SANAS approved verification agency or acceptable valid affidavit must be attached and relevant form contained in the tender document must be completed).
BID CONDITIONS: Bidders shall take note of the bid conditions as stipulated in the terms of reference of this bid.
