TENDER NOTICE

The ZULULAND DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY hereby invites qualifying and suitable
service providers to tender for the following service(s):

Tender Name and Details: SUPPLY AND DELVER OF EPWP UNIFORM

This contract will be awarded to a suitable service provider to Supply and Deliver of Personal Protective Clothing to the Zululand District Municipality. The items will be Two-piece overalls, T-Shirts round neck, Bunny jackets and sun hats which must be screen printed at the back, embroidered Municipal logo and EPWP Logo. 80/20 Preference Point System will apply.

No tender documents will be sold/handed out at and there will be NO Clarification
meeting.

Prospective tenderers are required to download Soft Copy Documents on Municipal  website (www.zululand.org.za) as from 28 May 2021. Tenderers are required to Print and Bind their tender documents and submit to tender box situated at the Reception, at Zululand District Municipality Offices, LOT B-400 Gagane Street, Ulundi, 3838, on or before 04 June 2021 at 12:00.

Tender Closing Date: 04 June 2021 at 12h00.

Duly completed tender documents sealed in an envelope marked with the tender number and the closing date are to be deposited into the tender box at Zululand District Municipality, LOT B-400 Gagane Street, Ulundi, 3838, by no later than 12h00 on the closing date where they will be opened in public. Telegraphic, telefaxed or posted tenders WILL NOT be accepted.

Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued and colour pages as instructed as those that will not follow instruction will be qualified. Requirements for sealing, addressing, delivering, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the tender data

This tender will be evaluated on compliance (returnable(s) and completeness) and functionality. The Criteria as stipulated in the “Functional Evaluation Criteria, will be applicable for each functionality and compliance. The maximum weight of each Criterion is indicated in the tender document. Any tenderer who scores less than 75% in respect of “functionality” will be regarded as submitting a non-responsive tender and will be disqualified. Note that only tenderers who comply administratively returnable(s) and completeness of document) shall move to the compliance stage.

NB: Tax PIN will be a compliance matter and non-submission will result in disqualification.

Only locally produced or locally manufactured Textiles, Clothing, Leather and Footwear from local raw material or input will be considered. If the raw material or input to be used for a specific item is not available locally, bidders should obtain written authorisation from the dti should there be a need to import such raw material or input.

The Bid Committee of Zululand District Municipality does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
