TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER

Amatola Water Board is a state-owned, South African water utility established in November 1997 and is mandated to render water services to water sector institutions, local  government and other customers in the Eastern Cape.

Suitably experienced and qualified suppliers/service providers are invited to respond  to this bid invitation.

TENDER 1 – AW2021/22/02

DESCRIPTION: SUPPLY AND PROVISION OF HOSTING SERVICES AND PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT SERVICES FOR A PERIOD OF 5 YEARS (60 MONTHS)

DESCRIPTION: ESTABLISHMENT OF A TERM CONTRACT FOR THE DESIGN; SUPPLY; DELIVERY; INSTALLATION; TESTING; COMMISSIONING; UPHOLDING DURING THE TRIAL OPERATION PERIOD AND THE DEFECTS LIABILITY PERIOD A FABRICATED STEEL ELEVATED STORAGE TANK – 200KL & 300KL FOR A PERIOD OF 3 YEARS

ACCESS TO TENDER DOCUMENTS:
AW2021/22/02 – Tender documents will be available from the 31 August 2021 and ca be downloaded free of charge from the Amatola Water website at www.amatolawater.co.za – go to the tender’s page.

AW2021/22/05 – Bid documents will be available from 11h00 on 1st September 2021 at Reception at Amatola House, 6 Lancaster Road, Vincent, East London and then during working hours between 08h00 – 16h00 until one week after Compulsory Bid Clarification Meeting. A non-refundable fee of R300.00 is payable for each set of bid documents.

Payment is to be made by either bank deposit or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) only (no cash or cheque payments will be accepted) and is to be made payable to Amatola Water, Nedbank Bank, Account No. 1210394685, Branch Code: 198765. The proof of deposit is required upon collection of the tender documents. No tender documents will be sold at the briefing meeting.

TENDER SUBMISSIONS: The original completed bid documents and all supporting documents must be submitted in a sealed envelope or parcel endorsed/marked with the Bid Number and Bid Description as detailed above. The sealed envelope must be deposited in the Bid/Tender Box located in the reception area of Amatola House, 6 Lancaster Rd, Vincent, East London prior to the closing date and time stipulated above. There will be no public opening due to COVID-19 regulations but the opening register will uploaded on the Amatola Water Website.
