1) Portions 7-42, 105-110 to “Single Residential” zone

2) Portions 1-5, 43-104, 111-142 to “Special Residential” zone

3) Portion 143 to “Public Open Space”

4) Portion 144 to “Street” zone

[e] Departure from certain parameters in the Zoning Scheme with regard to the minimum erf size, minimum street width and the provision of public open space as prescribed in the Special Residential Zone, in terms of Section 15(2)(b) of the Knysna Municipality By-law on Municipal Land Use Planning (2016).

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 45 of the Knysna Municipality By-law on Municipal Land Use Planning (2016) that the abovementioned application has been received and is available for inspection during office hours at the office of the Town Planning Department, 3 Church Street, Knysna; the Sedgefield Library; as well as the municipal website: http://www.knysna.gov.za/resident-services/planning/current-land-use-applications/

Any written comments may be addressed in terms of Section 50 of the said legislation to the Municipal Manager, P.O Box 21, Knysna 6570 or via email knysna@knysna.gov.za and lmniki@knysna.gov.za, on or before 23 April 2019, quoting your name, address, contact details, interest in the application and reasons for comment. The municipality may refuse to accept comments received after the closing date. Persons who cannot write may approach the Town Planning Office at 3 Church Street, Knysna during office hours, where the responsible official will assist you in putting your comments in writing.
