APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER TO PROVIDE SECURITY SERVICES TO VARIOUS RICHMOND MUNICIPALITY PREMISES AND SITES

TENDER NUMBER: 11/2018/2019

Bids are hereby invited by Richmond Local Municipality seeks to appoint a qualified and experience service provider to provide security services to various Richmond Municipality premises and sites.

A compulsory briefing session will be held on 29 March 2019 at 10h00 and will be held in the Richmond Agricultural Hall. The briefing session will be then followed by a site visit which forms part of the compulsory briefing. Bid documents must be reserved in witting through, The office of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) by not later than 27 March 2019 at 12h00. The tender will be evaluated via two stages of which the first stage will be functionality and the second stage will be 80:20 Preference Point Systems. Each bidder must score 70 points for functionality to be considered for the second stage of evaluation. Bidders are encouraged to submit certified BBBEE Certificates or SWORN affidavits to claim Preference Points.

The closing date for the tender is 26 April 2019 at 10h00, which will be followed by a public opening.

GRAP AND MSCOA COMPLIANT FIXED ASSET REGISTER

Bids are hereby invited from suitable, qualified and experienced professional service providers to submit a proposal to prepare a GRAP and mSCOA Compliant Fixed Asset Register (FAR) for Richmond Local Municipality.

A compulsory briefing session will be held on 01 April 2019 at 10h00 and will be held in the Municipal Council Chambers, 57 Shepstone Street, Richmond. The briefing session will be then followed by a site visit which forms part of the compulsory briefing. FOR THE ABOVE THREE (3) TENDERS:

Only bidders who are registered with National Treasury Suppliers Database (CSD) will be eligible to bid.

A non-refundable fee of R402.50 is payable for each bid document of which only cash will be accepted, Tender documents will be available on the briefing date as from 08h00 to 09h45 in Finance department 57 Shepstone Street Richmond.

The completed tender documents complying with the conditions of tender must be sealed and endorsed with “TENDER NUMBER AND PROJECT NAME” and MUST be hand delivered and deposited in the official tender box located at the reception area of the Richmond Municipality, 57 Shepstone Street during the office hours from 08h00 to 16h00 Monday to Friday.

Facsimile, electronic and late bids will not be accepted. Documents received post-closing date and time will be returned unopened.

The Richmond Municipality is not obliged to accept the lowest bid or any part thereof and in addition reserves the right not to accept any bid and therefore retains the right not to proceed herein.
