INVITATION TO TENDER
The Zululand District Municipality hereby invites tenders for:
SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF SETHEMBE AGRICULTURAL ITEMS FOR ZULULAND DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY
CONTRACT No: ZDM 024/2020
The purpose of this tender is to procure the services of a suitable qualified Service Provider to timeously supply and deliver of agricultural projects to the Municipality. The duration of the contract is 3 years.
It is important for the tenderer to make note that there will be No Tender Briefing for this contract, nonetheless the Zululand District Municipality reserves the right to evaluate responsive tenderers capacity and experience to execute the contract based on the information they provided.
All those requiring tender documents MUST e-mail or fax the relevant tender information with tender number, their company information, tender contact person and contact details to: Mr K. No tender clarification meeting will be held for this contract.
Tender documents will be available on the 20 November 2019 from 08h30 to 15h30 only, and must be collected from SCM Section, Office No. G16 at Zululand District Municipality Offices in Ulundi during office hours, upon representing a cash receipt for the payment of the tender, where payment deposit can be made at Cashiers Office situated at the main office entrance Finance Department, ground floor of Zululand District Municipality.
A R850.00 non-refundable deposit (Cash only) is required for each tender document drawn

This tender will be evaluated on the following criteria: • An 80/20 preferential procurement system. Should the tenderer wish to claim any preference points please ensure that an original or certified copy of your company’s BBBEE level status verification certificate is submitted with the tender document • Compliance on submission (returnables and completeness) of this tender requirement • Target will be BBBE Level 1 and EME/QSE.
TENDER CLOSING DATE: 17 DECEMBER 2019 AT 12H00.
Duly completed tender documents sealed in an envelope, marked with Tender Number and the Closing Date are to be deposited into the tender box at Zululand District Municipality, Lot B-400, Ugagane Street, Ulundi, 3838 by no later than 12h00 on the closing date where they will be opened in public. Telegraphic, telefaxed or posted tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued. Requirements for sealing, addressing, delivering, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the tender data of this contract.
The Zululand District Municipality and its Bid Committee members does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender or to furnish any reasons for the acceptance or rejection of any tender on this contract.
