INVITATION TO TENDER
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION: FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT FOR
MAJOR CONSTRUCTION WORKS WITHIN THE UNIVERSITY OF
THE WITWATERSRAND PRECINCTS
TENDER NO: CPD.CFC.2020-2023
The Campus Planning and Development Department of the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, invites prospective tenderers to participate in a two (2) stage tender process with the intention of entering into framework agreements for major construction works within the University of the Witwatersrand precincts over a period of three (3) years in terms of the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (“ECC4”). The rst stage is a Request for Information (RFI). Thereafter, shortlisted tenderers will be invited to respond to a Request for Proposal (RFP).
Eligibility and preferencing criteria are stated in the RFI documents. Only respondents who meet the stated criteria are eligible to have their submissions evaluated.
Registration of intent to bid: Please ensure that you register your email address with the tender administrator for communication purposes related to this tender. Tenderers may not contact any other University staff member and all questions must be submitted in writing to the tender administrator.
The deadline for the registration of intent to bid is Thursday, 11 June 2020. This deadline must be strictly adhered to. The University reserves its right to award this tender in full, in parts or not at all and call for new tenders in the event of unsatisfactory reply to this tender invitation.
