INVITATION TO BID

APPOINTMENT OF 3 YEARS PANEL OF CONTRACTORS FOR URBAN/RURAL STORMWATER MAINTENANCE WITHIN UMDONI LOCAL MUNICIPALITY

Bids are hereby invited to tender for the APPOINTMENT OF 3 YEARS PANEL OF CONTRACTORS FOR URBAN/RURAL STORMWATER MAINTENANCE WITHIN UMDONI LOCAL MUNICIPALITY project.

Bid documents may be obtained from the Umdoni Local Municipality Offices at Corner Bram Fischer and Williamson Street, Scottburgh, 4180, from 09 October 2019 at 09h00 – 14h30 upon non-refundable cash payment of R500.00. No cheques will be accepted.

The document will also be made available on Etenders via this website: www.etenders.gov.za Grading requirements of 2CE or higher.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representatives of the Employer, will be held at 10h00 am in the Scottburgh Town Hall on the 17 October 2019. Failure to attend the compulsory clarification meeting will disqualify the tender.

Bids are to be completed in accordance with the conditions attached to the bid document and must be SEALED AND ENDORSED WITH THE RELEVANT BID NUMBER, and must be deposited in the official bid box in the foyer of the Umdoni Local Municipality at Corner Bram Fisher and Williamson Street, Scottburgh 4180 not later than 12:00 on 29 October 2019 at which time bids will be opened in public.

Late bids or e-mail will under no circumstances be considered.

Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after the closing date for the submission of bids. Municipality take no responsibility of courier documents.

Umdoni Local Municipality subscribes to the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 2000, (Act No. 5 of 2000). Bidders must achieve 70% on Functionality to qualify for the next stage. The 80/20 Preference Point System shall be applicable during the evaluation and adjudication of this contract.

Umdoni Local Municipality does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any bid and reserves the right to accept any bid in whole or part.
